Synthesis is a proprietary distinctive A.V.A blend from Napa Valley by Martin Ray Winery. By definition, Synthesis means “the composition or combination of parts or elements so as to form a whole”. In the case of this wine, it is a blend of the best barrel lots from their favorite vineyards in Napa Valley ranging from Stags Leap District to Rutherford vineyards. Each circle represents a vineyard and each are in a shade of purple reminiscent of the tones of a cabernet sauvignon grape. The logotype is a play on the word "synthesis"—same font family but using different styles within the font family.
